This course in handling a superyacht tender or Rigid Inflatable Hull (RIB) is necessary for all crew onboard a superyacht. This course will give you the skills and experience to drive tenders and small boats up to 15m (45’) in fair weather up to 20 miles offshore.

This one day course covers both theory and practical boat handling including:

• Safety at sea
• VHF Radio operations
• Small powerboats and rigid inflatable boats
• Launching and recovery
• Anchors and anchoring
• Nautical terminology
• Boat handling under power
• Man overboard procedures
• Ropes and rope-work
• Basic rules of the road (collision regulations)
