This is not a beginners course and the recommended entry level requirements are to have completed the VHF radio operators course, have logged over 200 nautical miles and 10 days at sea before advancing to this level.

Successful completion of this course will allow you to charter a vessel internationally as it is recognised by all major insurance and charter companies.
