The professional Hospitality course is designed to prepare you for the most discerning of owners and is presented over 5 days.

Day 1 The Superyacht Industry including: Number & types of yachts; Flag State Registrations; Private and Commercial Yachts; STCW & Nautical Qualification; MCA (British Coastguard); Chain of Command; Rank & Position; Resumes / Interviewing; Crew Agreements; Personal Appearance & Hygiene; Rules Onboard; Nautical / Military Time; Vendor Contracts; Guest Arrival; Preference Forms; Seamanship; Basic Safety; VHF Radio; Phonetic Alphabet; Nautical Terminology & Vessel Familiarisation

Day 2 Bar/Wine & Food Service Theory including: Bartending Terminology; Cocktail Garnishes; Bar Equipment; Bar Inventory; Beverage Provisioning; Handling and Serving Wine; Formal meal sequence; Place settings; Food safety and hygiene; Special diets; Cabin service

Day 3 Bar/Wine & Food Service Practical including practical demonstrations and exercises on all theory subjects. Elements of this training will be undertaken on board the Superyacht “GALAXY”

Day 4 Interior Detailing / Laundry including: Cleaning without Guests Onboard; Cleaning Supplies; Caring for Stemware; Caring for China; Polishing Silver; Bed Making - practical; Laundry & Stain Removal

Day 5 Special Skills including; Flower Arranging - practical; Fruit Baskets; Daily Duties
