• Regulations / Licensing requirements
• VHF radio equipment
• Radio procedures
• Transmitting and receiving
• The phonetic alphabet
• Emergency radio communications
• EPIRB and SART
• Hand held short range VHF radio’s
The Australian Superyacht College is authorised to conduct examinations for Marine Radio Operator Certificate of Proficiency (MROCP) and Marine Radio Operator VHF Certificate of Proficiency (MROVCP) which are recognised by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) all state Maritime authorities and internationally. Successful candidates will receive a MROCP/MROVCP from the Australian Maritime College.
